AideMatch editorial standards
Our care resource library exists to help caregivers understand opportunities and help families or providers make more informed hiring preparations. It does not replace a clinician, attorney, tax professional, insurer, licensing body or government agency.
How guides are researched
We prioritize primary public sources, including the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor, IRS, Medicare and Medicaid, CDC, OSHA and National Institute on Aging. Source links appear in the text where a fact or rule is discussed and again at the end of each guide.
How guides are produced
Articles are created with a structured editorial workflow that combines topic planning, research synthesis, writing tools and automated checks for minimum depth, unique metadata, working internal links and source attribution. Content is reviewed for clarity and consistency before publication. A guide is not represented as clinician-reviewed or attorney-reviewed unless that statement appears on the specific page.
What we check
- Advice stays within the educational purpose of the article.
- Health, employment, tax and coverage claims link to relevant official guidance.
- Pages distinguish nonmedical caregiving from tasks requiring licensed clinical care.
- Articles encourage readers to verify state, employer, program and individual requirements.
- Titles and descriptions accurately reflect the visible content.
Affiliated training services
Guides may include clearly disclosed links to HCA Training, Huduma Exam and Huduma CNA Training Center, affiliated services in the Huduma Center family. These links are optional career resources and are not independent editorial endorsements. HCA and CNA requirements vary by state. HCA Training is presented as a Washington-focused program; Huduma Exam is the candidate exam and certificate portal; and the CNA program is described with its current approval status. As of this review, the CNA school reports Workforce Board approval while final Washington State Board of Nursing program approval remains pending, and it is not currently enrolling students.
